Refund Policy

Refund for Specific Product Services

The refund policy will differ according to the nature of the Services and the wording of the mutually agreed Product Services Contract, which will detail the Client’s Technical Requirements, the Deliverables required of us, the time-frame for completion of those Services, and the penalties (if applicable) for our failure to provide the Deliverables on time.

Refund for Online Support Services:

Our Online Support Services are provided only to those people or entities already known to us because we have developed a specific product for them utilizing a full team of our own experts. We do not take recurring payments of any sort for providing our Online Support Services; you pay a subscription in advance for the exact number of hours you wish to receive services for and then, if your subscription expires and you wish to continue subscribing to our Services, you will need to re-subscribe. If, at any time within 7 days of making your FIRST payment for our Services you decide that you wish to be refunded, then we undertake to refund you in full following your request to us to do so. However, your request for such refund must be emailed to adminDPO@bw-dataservices.com, and must clearly notify us of:

  1. your decision to cancel your subscription (sent from the email address you registered with us for signup purposes),
  2. your subscription payment details (such as payment date, reference number, etc.), and
  3. your User Name.

Where you are entitled to a refund for cancelling within that 7-day period, then we undertake to refund you as soon as possible in full accordance with the refund policy of the Merchant Account Provider through which your payment was made. However, if you request for a refund AFTER that 7-day period has expired, then you will be considered to fall under the category of "Regular Subscribing Member", in which case your refund will be handled/treated as described below.

Refund for Regular Subscribing Member for Online Support Services:

If you do not request a refund within 7 days of paying your first subscription for our Online Support Services, then you shall be deemed to have become a Regular Subscribing Member. If you request a refund after you have become a Regular Subscribing Member for our Online Support Services, then such refund will be calculated as follows:

  1. For the number of hours of our Services you have received up to the date of your request for a refund, you will be charged at the same rate for that number of hours per month as is shown on the Subscribe page of this website.
  2. To cater for our administration costs, we shall be entitled to deduct 25% from the balance of the current subscription amount less the re-computed charges based on the actual number of hours of Services we provided you with before you requested a refund.
  3. The following is an example of how the above provisions would work, based on the Package “A” Services:
    1. Subscription is for Package A-6 ($76.00) for 12 hours per month;
    2. Refund Requested after 5 hours only;
    3. Re-computed Charges would be for Package A-3 ($45.00 x 5/6 = $37.50);
    4. Amount of Refund = ($76.00 - $37.50) * 75% (100% - 25%), leaving a net refund of $28.88.
  4. The following is a further example of how the above provisions would work based on the Package “B” Services:
    1. Subscription is for Package B-6 ($199.00) for 27 hours per annum;
    2. Refund Requested after 16 hours only;
    3. Re-computed Charges would be for Package B-3 ($144.00 x 16/27 = $85.33);
    4. Amount of Refund = ($144.00 - $85.33) * 75% (100% - 25%), leaving a net refund of $44.00.
